Lost Weight

So I wish I could say that I lost weight that will never return again, unfortunately, the way I lost it, it is bound to return again.

This week I got sick, and stressed and everything else. I couldn't eat (at least much) since Thursday.
From Thursday I went from 137.6 to Sunday I went down to 133.6.
I can now comfortably fit in my fat pants. And button them.

This week I signed up for Gold's Gym. Now..God willing I don't get sick again, I plan (planning is key) to go to the gym three days a week.
Starting slow. 3 is a good number.
Plus they have childcare!!! I can get Ava and go straight there!
Thats the plan anyways. I've had lots of plans already, Weight Watchers, HCG, I haven't stuck with anything so far.
I'm hoping I will be able to this time.

Last day

Yes...I am stopping the diet. After one week.

I can't deal with the food cravings. They are sooo intense.
Today my skin started cracking so bad my hands started bleeding. I still use lotion but for some reason, it isn't working.

The office that I went to suggested that I jump right into phase 2. I think maybe that was my mistake. If I want to succeed, I need to follow protocol. I need to start with phase 1, then enter phase 2.
I was ready to start the diet last week but then I found out I was doing the shots wrong and I got disappointed and discouraged.

I plan on exercising.I have a personal trainer that will start working with me on Monday.
We'll go from there.

2nd day of the actual diet

Day two of the actual diet.
I lost two pounds since the first day (yesterday)!!
Yesterday I did ok. Until dinner time.
I weighed in at 137.0
Breakfast: Tea
Snack: Grapefruit
Lunch: Chicken and spinach
Snack: Apple
Dinner: I cheated I went to Famous Daves. My husband and I ordered one dish and split it. We had pulled pork/ chicken (boneless wings), drunkin apples and beans. We split the whole thing. I also ordered water.
Today I woke up, certain I had gained weight.
I weighed in at 135.2
Breakfast: Tea
Snack: Grapefruit and water and tea
Lunch: Chicken and lettuce and water
Snack: Apple
Dinner: I sort of cheated, I ate out but I was good. Chicken soup (chicken broth and chicken) I did sort of cheat and had a few pieces of fried chicken, and some blue berries. YUMMMM Still stuck with water.
I then also had a pediasure side kick.
I had bad cravings. Bad bad bad cravings. It was horrible!
I hope tomorrow is a good day. And I'll be as good as I can this weekend when we go out of town.

A little disappointed

So...I'm a little disappointed today. I woke up with a panic attack last night.
I was so hungry yesterday, I couldn't figure out why I have been so hungry and my hunger pains haven't gone away. I woke up in a panic thinking, what if I haven't been injecting the medicine? What if I've only been injecting air?
So this morning, I tested my theory. I filled the needle with a little more than the .25 and I squirted it to make sure I was, in fact, getting medicine. Lo and behold, for 5 days I have been injecting air in my body.
I had a panic attack ALL morning. It felt like I was having a heart attack. How could I have missed such a vital step to this weight loss process?!
I still lost .5 lbs this morning. So I still lost, despite my mistake. And my cheat yesterday (I had frozen yogurt and cheerios).
So I called my DR office at 9am when they opened and they told me just what I thought they would tell me, START OVER. UGH.
I was on my 5th day. Now I have to start all over again. Not that its entirely bad.
Since I have to do the gorging days over again this is how my day went:
Breakfast- iced chi tea
Snack- none
Lunch- chimichanga and a soda
Snack- none
Dinner- In-N-Out burger (double burger) and a milk shake

Can't wait to start again and I hope this weight melts off!!!
I still have lost 3.5 lbs. I hope it will stay down even after my gorging days. My weight in is Wednesday.

Day 5

So I am on day 5 (except its sort of hard to tell how hard today will be).
Friday was my frist offical day of the actual diet. I did well, dispite the obsticals that were thrown in my direction.
On Satruday morning when I weighed myself I found that I lost 1 lbs. Thats pretty good.
Except I sort of messed up.
I drank lots of water and lots of tea. I actually did surprisingly well on my liquids for the day. I had three large (24 oz) teas, I had 3 large (24 oz) cups of water.
For a snack I had strawberries
For lunch I had In-N-Out protein style burger (lettuce, tomato and meat)
Snack was 1/4 of an apple
My friend took me to lunch at Olive Garden. I cheated. Not bad but I still cheated, and I felt dirty.
I had Mixed Grill. So it was grilled veggies and Grilled Chicken and Steak. No sauce on the chicken or steak. I also had TWO bread sticks. YUMMMM I did stick with water. I was proud of myself. I also only ate half of the veggies and chicken and steak. I took the other half home.
Then my friend and I got a pedicure. Best pedicure ever. Except they did put oil and lotion on, lots of it.
Then for a snack at 7pm I had the rest of the apple.

Today (Sunday, Day 5 but day 3 of the actual diet). I stepped on the scale and I lost another pound! Two pounds in two days. Thats pretty good!
Once I get below 130 (on my new scale which is like 128 on my old scale) I will be completely ecstatic!! That means I don't have to worry about gaining back those 5 extra lbs creeping back up.
My goal is to lose at least 15 lbs. I would like to lose 20, but we'll see how that goes.
I am excited that I'm losing!

HCG Diet


So...after several weeks of in dept reviews. I decided to go for the plunge.
I am doing the HCG diet.
I went through a doctor. I got the shots.
My initial appointment, consultation, went well. Their scale is obviously different than my home scale. I stepped on their scale I was 139.8. My scale at home I weighed 134.

My first appointment, where I actually met with the doctor, I weighed in at 140.6 (and yes, I had actually stopped eating so many sweets between my consultation and my first appointment).
The first two day I gorged like crazy!!! It was perfect. I started on my birthday (Wednesday April 6). I had my usual Starbucks. I got a grande white chocolate mocha. For lunch my husband took me out to lunch at the place we nick name the carb-coma-cafe. I had a hamburger and some fries. He also brought me cupcakes. I ate two. For dinner we went to Outback steak house. I had Parmesan pasta with chicken and scallops.
Day two of gorging I had my usual Starbucks. I had grande white chocolate mocha. For lunch my dad too me to Sushi. I had two rolls to myself, muscles, miso soup, and two more rolls. YUM!
For dinner I decided to have Taco Bell. I got a gordita, 5 layer burrito and twists.
YUM!

My Friday day of the diet was horrible. Horrible, horrible, horrible.
My husband and I had been up all night with our daughter at the ER. Since we got home at 3am. I decided to do my shots at 3:30 (since I knew I wouldn't be up at 6am to do the shots). I still went to Starbucks. I got passion tea instead of hot chocolate or white mocha. I forgot my truvia at home so I waited until I got home to get my Truvia.



My entire morning was thrown off. I had a 1/2 grapefruit with truvia. Then I didn't eat again until 4pm. I had chicken and asparagus.
I also had bunco (I passed up nachos!!!) tonight. I stopped by the store before bunco and got an apple and strawberries. I had an apple and water.



Then on the way home I was hungry so we stopped at In-N-Out. I had a protein burger (patty wrapped in lettuce). That's it.



So today I had
1/2 grapefruit with truvia
Chicken with cummin and asparagus

Green apple
Protein burger from In-N-Out

That's it!
I had one tea and one water. I didn't have enough water today.

Today I weighed in (at home) at 135.5
